Occupation-Free Choices is an evidence-first consumer research project for checking products, brands, services, websites, apps, and companies against public records of institutional conduct.
What this project does
OFC identifies a product or company first, then checks reviewed evidence sources, ownership clues, investor context, public contracts, and data gaps. It focuses on documented institutional conduct, not protected identity.
How moderation works
User submissions do not publish automatically. A reviewer must check the public source, relationship chain, date, category, dispute state, and correction request before any public result changes.
Who operates it
OFC is operated by Salem Experience Design using Salem OS infrastructure. Donations or operating support cannot influence listings, removals, corrections, rankings, or alternatives.
Project identity
The public PWA is hosted at https://occupation-freechoices.com/. Salem OS still powers the infrastructure, but the consumer app now uses its own project domain.
