Methodology
Occupation-Free Choices is an evidence-first consumer research project. It helps people understand whether a product, brand, service, website, app, parent company, or major investor has a reviewed public-source connection to documented institutional conduct.
What OFC is and is not
What not to send
Do not submit claims based on ethnicity, religion, nationality, founders, employees, private individuals, rumors, social-media screenshots without source verification, or harassment targets.
What OFC is
OFC will identify the product first, then check the company and evidence sources. If the barcode is thin, add label photos for brand, origin, and maker clues.

Data limits / Moderation and corrections
No reviewed match found
No reviewed match found means OFC has no reviewed evidence record connected to the search. It is not ethical clearance and it does not prove no evidence exists elsewhere.
Read label photo
Label photos are optional OCR clues for product name, barcode, origin, producer, importer, or maker-block text. OCR is never evidence by itself.
Data limits
Current source batch is shown on the homepage. This methodology explains how records are reviewed and interpreted.
Lower, dispute, or remove a listing
Use this when a current listing appears wrong, outdated, over-prioritized, disputed, or no longer source-supported. It requires the same source checks as additions.
Record schema
OFC will identify the product first, then check the company and evidence sources. If the barcode is thin, add label photos for brand, origin, and maker clues.
