Policy

Policy
Source-backed institutional conduct only. Public evidence required. No identity-based claims.
Policy version: 22 Jun 2026. Updated when correction, dispute, abuse, privacy, support, or moderation rules change.
Submit Correction
If a result looks missing, outdated, or wrong, send the public source here. Nothing changes in the app until a reviewer checks the source, company relationship, date, and category.
Institutional conduct only
Do not submit claims based on ethnicity, religion, nationality, founders, employees, private individuals, rumors, social-media screenshots without source verification, or harassment targets.
Moderation required
A reviewer must verify the public source before this can affect search results or status.
Correction review target
Correction, dispute, and removal requests are reviewed with the same care as additions. OFC targets an initial moderation review within 7 days. Urgent privacy, safety, identity-targeting, harassment, or clearly false-link reports are targeted for review within 72 hours. These are review targets, not guarantees; complex ownership or source disputes may stay marked as disputed or research needed until resolved.
Disputed
The company contests the claim or evidence conflicts.
Appeals and disputes
A company, user, researcher, or affected party can request review of a status, category, source date, relationship chain, confidence level, or removal decision through Submit Correction. Appeals and removal requests are reviewed under the same source standard as additions. If evidence conflicts or a right-of-reply is pending, OFC may mark the record as disputed, research needed, or removed/outdated until the issue is resolved.
Abuse policy
OFC does not accept doxxing, harassment, brigading, identity-based submissions, screenshots without public sources, rumor amplification, or calls to target individuals. Submissions must concern institutional conduct and must include reviewable public evidence.
Privacy
Camera scans, optional label photos, lookup analytics, and submissions are covered in the privacy page.
