Camera scanning runs in this browser/app session. OFC does not store live camera video. Optional label photos are used as OCR lookup clues and are only sent for review if you submit them.
If scanning gets stuck
Camera access denied or blocked: allow camera access for this site, then start the scanner again. No usable camera found: type the barcode manually. No camera prompt appears: check the browser address-bar camera setting. No readable barcode yet: hold the code flat, improve light, avoid glare, or enter the number. OCR was uncertain: use a brighter label photo or type the visible product or brand text.
